My favorite depiction of David is the sculpture done by Michelangelo. I am interested in this sculpture because I was able to see it in person at the Academia in Florence, Italy. I like how Michelangelo made David three times the size of a normal human being. What interest me about this David is that Michelangelo used great detail to show the muscles and even the veins of David. What is also special about this sculpture is that their was an exaggeration in anatomy, David's hands are larger than they should be to show the strength of David.
