I think Kiki Smith is a really cool artist. She has a lot of meaning behind her works. In Born she takes a deer and human woman. The whole thing seems so natural the way she portrays it, yet in real life it is so unnatural.The style is so classical, and it signifies the roman goddess Diana, the ancient Roman goddess of the hunt, which makes it make sense a little more. I think Smith's art is really interesting, especially her sculptures and the way there is so much meaning behind them.
