Out of the four David's of Italian Art I chose Michelangelo's to be my favorite. Personally, the other three were very special also, although, I just felt this David was always the one to stand out the most; the original. This sculpture is known to be one of the greatest masterpieces ever created by mankind. This Renaissance sculpture was made in 1501 to 1504 made of 14 feet of marble, that is standing in Florence, Italy. In the first picture that I posted, it is easier to notice the small detail that Michelangelo really put into this sculpture, making it even more real looking. This David will be noticed as one of the most noticed and successful pieces of art in all American History.
