I picked Bernini's David because it is a sculpture I have never seen before looking it up. The medium is marble and is located in Galleria Borghese. It was interesting to find out Bernini started working on this sculpture when he was 24 years old and finished the sculpture in 7 months. I chose this sculpture because it is very dynamic as it depicts a story of the Old Testament of Davis about to go to battle to slay Goliath with the stone in his hand. I also noticed Davids aggressive facial expression and determined stance in the statue.
