I chose this sculpture by Bernini because I am intrigued by the expression that Ludovica displays. Bernini is excellent at capturing emotion and he captures the emotion of passion in this sculpture. It make you wonder what Ludovica was expressing passion for. Also, it is amazing how Bernini capture the real look of of fabric out of marble.
